Terms of Use
These terms explain the basic rules for using Frekwency.
1. Acceptance and who can use the app
By using Frekwency, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 13 years old. If you are younger than the age of digital consent where you live, your parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
2. Testing service
Frekwency and its server are provided for testing. The service may change, break, lose data or be shut down without notice.
3. Accounts
Give accurate information when registering, keep your password private and do not share your account. We may suspend or delete accounts.
4. Acceptable use
Do not scrape or bulk download the catalogue or media files, or attempt to break, probe or overload the service. Do not upload unlawful content. Playlist names must not be abusive or unlawful.
5. Music and intellectual property
The music and artwork belong to their respective owners. We do not own the rights to the tracks, artwork or other music content currently available in the app, and we do not hold distribution rights to the test content. Nothing in the app gives you any right to copy, download, redistribute or publicly perform it. Rights holders can request takedown by emailing frekwency@proton.me.
6. Ads
Any ads shown or played during testing are demonstration ads used only for demo and testing purposes. No real advertisers are involved, no ad revenue is earned, and no one paid for them.
7. No warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for loss of data, interruption or indirect loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Changes to the service and these terms
We may change the service or these terms. Continued use after terms are updated means you accept the updated terms. We will update the “Last updated” date when these terms change.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using Frekwency at any time. You may request account deletion by email to frekwency@proton.me.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Malawi.
